Wavetrac LSD for BMW 188K Axle, r=3.15+: E46, E8x, E9x, E60, F10/F11, Z4 E85/E86

A limited slip differential for BMW's 188K rear axle with a final drive of 3.15 or higher. Wavetrac list it for the automatic E46 325i, 328i and 330i, the E9x 325i to 330i and later automatic 335i, the E8x 128i and 135i auto, the E60 525i to 530i auto and the Z4 2.5i and 3.0i. It drives the rear wheel with grip, not the one spinning. Later cars may have a welded ring gear that needs machining.

Check before you order

• Some of these axles have the ring gear friction-welded to an open differential. If yours does, the ring gear has to be split off, machined and threaded to take the Wavetrac and ARP bolts - bolts and machining are not included.
• The cars listed are a guide only: BMW fitted more than one axle size and final drive ratio to the same model. Confirm your axle size and ratio from the VIN or the axle's part number before ordering.
