A limited slip differential for the 02Q six-speed manual gearbox in front-wheel-drive VW Group cars: the Golf Mk5 to Mk7, Jetta, Caddy and B6 Passat, the Seat Leon 1P and 5F, Toledo and Altea, the Skoda Octavia Mk2 and Mk3, Superb and Yeti, and the Audi A3 8P and TT 8J. Where an open diff lets a lifted or unloaded front wheel spin away the drive, the Wavetrac builds load inside itself and keeps pulling with the wheel that has grip.

Check before you order

• The factory ring gear is riveted to the original differential: the rivets must be removed and replaced with bolts, which are not included with this differential.
• 2WD cars with the factory VAQ electronic front differential (the Performance Pack option) take the 10.309.176WK, not this one.

Fitting notes

• Because the factory castings vary, the webbing inside the gearbox casing may need grinding back so the differential can spin freely.
