Forge Motorsport 1.8T Transverse Baffled Sump for Volkswagen Golf MK4 1.8T (FMBSMP18T)

A baffled sump for the transverse 1.8T engine, built around a brand new OE-spec sump pan with baffles and Viton oil control valves that let oil move around the engine while keeping a minimum sump capacity under heavy G forces. An oil level sensor blanking plate is included for cars without a sensor.

• Forge Motorsport say hard acceleration, braking or cornering can briefly throw oil out of the sump, starving the oil-ways and putting bearings and bores at risk.
• Forge say the relatively soft Viton plates react far quicker than metal flaps, and are made to withstand hot oil and its contaminants.
• Forge Motorsport call it an essential item for any race, track or tuned car.
