MOTON Coilovers for BMW 1M E82 & M3 E90 / E92 / E93

Coilovers for the BMW 1M and the E90, E92 and E93 M3, which share their MOTON kits: the 1-Way Clubracer, and the 2-Way and 3-Way Motorsport with remote reservoirs, each with coilovers at the front only or front and rear (TCO). A car with EDC also needs an EDC delete kit, which is not included. There is also the 2-Way Internal, with separate compression and rebound adjustment and no external reservoir.

• If your car has EDC (BMW's electronically controlled dampers), an EDC delete kit is needed as well. It is not included.

Choose your series

Every MOTON damper is a monotube: nothing inside can aerate or foam, which keeps the valving responsive. A raised top guide with a helper piston cuts friction and internal wear, for steady, consistent damping. Springs come in the 1-Way Clubracer and the 2-Way and 3-Way Motorsport kits.

MOTON 1-Way Clubracer

The 1-Way Clubracer: non-inverted monotube coilovers at the front and the rear, adjustable for rebound damping and ride height. MOTON's kit for a car that does club racing as well as daily miles, where the balance on the road still matters. Where the car needs them, camber-adjustable front top mounts and solid rear top mounts are included. Adjustable camber lets you set the angle of the front wheels, and with it how the front end grips. The rebound adjuster has 12 positions.

MOTON 2-Way Internal, no external reservoir

The 2-Way Internal: compression and rebound damping each have their own adjuster, with no external reservoir - both adjusters sit on top of the damper. MOTON made it for racers whose class does not allow canisters or remote reservoirs. Ride height adjusts, and the gas pressure can be adjusted to add lifting force. Camber-adjustable top mounts are supplied where they are available for the car. The dampers can be rebuilt and revalved.

MOTON 2-Way Motorsport, coilovers at the front

Rebound and compression damping each have their own adjuster, and ride height adjusts too. The front dampers are coilovers; at the rear the spring and damper stay separate, as the car was built. External reservoirs, mounted remotely, come with the kit, and top mounts where the car needs them. Compression damping sets how quickly the suspension moves in; rebound sets how quickly it extends again. The rebound adjuster has 15 positions, and the front spring rates can be changed. Made first of all for motorsport, and particularly suited to endurance racing.

MOTON 2-Way Motorsport TCO, coilovers front and rear

Rebound and compression damping each have their own adjuster, and ride height adjusts too; the dampers are coilovers front and rear. The dampers work with external reservoirs, mounted remotely.
