Forge Motorsport Induction Kit for BMW B46/B48 (120i, 125i, 220i, 230i, 320i, 330i, 420i, 430i) (FMINDK55)

A prepreg 2x2 twill carbon fibre upper airbox induction kit for the BMW B46/B48 engine, with a high-flow performance cone filter. It comes with a smooth 5 ply silicone inlet hose that takes the place of the OEM hose, whose sound resonator and accordion ribs Forge Motorsport say cause significant turbulence, and the hose grows from 85mm to 90mm at the airbox end.

• Carbon fibre formed in an autoclave and finished with an anti UV gloss gel coat; Forge say its low thermal conductivity reduces heat soak and helps lower inlet air temperatures.
• Forge Motorsport say the smooth multi-ply silicone hose significantly reduces turbulent airflow and handles the strain of engine mapping far better than the OEM hose.
• Improved induction noise, according to Forge Motorsport.
• Replaces OEM part numbers 13718601678, 13718605164 and 13718601682.

Check before you order

• Only fits B46/B48 engines with the MAF sensor design, not the temperature sensor versions
• Does not fit cars with the 306bhp B48
• If your OEM upper airbox has a channel for the strut bar to fit through, this kit will not fit

Fitting notes from Forge Motorsport

• Fitting: Comes with everything needed to fit it; fitting takes around 1 hour
