Forge Motorsport

Forge Motorsport Turbo Recirculation Valve for Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo (FMDV008)

Q: Will this valve replace the one on my car?

It replaces OEM valves with part numbers 06A145710N, 06A145710P, 0-280-142-114 and 4441895 (Saab), and it has a 25mm side pipe and a 6mm vacuum port. Compare those with your existing valve, and check the fitment table on this page.

Q: Why replace the factory valve?

Forge Motorsport say the factory Bosch valve is prone to failure of its rubber diaphragm, which leads to a boost leak. This valve uses an aluminium piston in its place.

Q: Can the valve be serviced?

Yes. It is fully serviceable and rebuildable in minutes, and Forge Motorsport say their FMDVSK service kit extends the life of the valve and keeps its performance.

Description

A two piece aluminium recirculation valve with an aluminium piston, made to replace the plastic Bosch valve, whose rubber diaphragm Forge Motorsport say is prone to failing and leaking boost. All of its components are made in the UK, and it takes a 25mm side pipe with a 6mm vacuum port on top.

Replaces OEM valves 06A145710N, 06A145710P, 0-280-142-114 and 4441895 (Saab).
Forge Motorsport claim quicker throttle response, reduced turbo lag and a greater flow rate than the OEM Bosch valve.
Pistons run heat stabilised Viton O-rings and high temperature grease, and the valve is fully serviceable and rebuildable in minutes.
Two uprated springs (yellow and blue) are supplied, so you can set the valve up for your car.
Offered in black or matt silver; Forge say it brings on no check engine light.
