Exoracing Turbo Downpipe Gasket 5 Bolt Composite

A 5-bolt composite gasket for sealing a turbo exhaust housing to the downpipe. It is built from two perforated metal sheets enclosing a carbon layer to withstand high temperatures and pressures, and measures 147mm x 116mm with a 57mm exhaust bore and a 35mm actuator bore.

• Aluminium composite construction: two perforated metal sheets around a carbon layer, designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures.
• Measures 147mm long by 116mm wide and 2mm thick, with a 57mm exhaust inner diameter and a 35mm actuator inner diameter.
• The 2mm thickness compresses to seal the turbo against the downpipe and reduce the chance of the gasket blowing out, provided it is torqued to the manufacturer's specification.
• Seals two flanges together, such as the turbo to the downpipe, preventing exhaust leaks, and fixes boost leaks from worn or split gaskets.
• Made to a 5-bolt turbo exhaust housing to downpipe pattern, with an OEM level of fitment and quality. Supplied as one gasket, weighing 28g.

Check before you order

• Buyers should double-check the dimensions in the specification table before ordering to ensure they are the correct size
• Exhaust leaks can be incredibly dangerous
• Worn, split or damaged gaskets can lead to exhaust gas leaks, significantly decreasing engine power

Fitting notes from Exoracing

• Professional installation: Professional installation is always recommended
• Before fitting: Ensure the turbocharger and downpipe are cold to the touch to reduce the risk of injury
• Flange check: Check the turbo and downpipe flanges are perfectly flat, as the gasket is more likely to blow out if the flanges are warped
• Torque: Tighten the five nuts or bolts to the factory specification, then run the car through 3-4 heat cycles before retorquing the downpipe bolts
• Damaged flanges: In case of damage or distortion, replacing the gasket and resurfacing both mating flanges is recommended for optimal sealing
