Q: Will this kit suit my engine and manifold?

The studs are M8x1.25x49, so check that your original manifold thread is M8x1.25. The kit is suited to Honda B-Series, D-Series, F-Series, H-Series and K-Series engines, and it also covers combined gasket and manifold depths up to 20mm. There is no vehicle-specific fitment table, so match the option to your engine and to the intake or exhaust side.

Q: How many studs and nuts are in each option?

It varies by engine and side: B-Series, D-Series, F-Series and H-Series intake options each supply 10 studs and nuts; B-Series, D-Series and H-Series exhaust options supply 9; F-Series exhaust supplies 7; K-Series intake supplies 7 and both K-Series exhaust options supply 5. A universal single is also listed.

Grade 5 titanium manifold studs with matching titanium flanged nuts, in M8x1.25x49. Each stud and nut weighs 11.8g, and the kit is designed to replace corroded, rounded or short OEM manifold hardware. Options cover Honda B-, D-, F-, H- and K-Series engines on the intake or exhaust side, with a universal single available for one stud.

Grade 5 titanium alloy studs in M8x1.25x49, supplied with matching Grade 5 titanium flanged hex nuts.
Each nut and stud weighs 11.8g, which Exoracing states is approximately 45% lighter than equivalent steel hardware.
Titanium resistant to salt water and aggressive chemicals, with a melting point of 1604°C - 1660°C. Exoracing claims excellent corrosion resistance compared with standard steel hardware.
Compatible with combined gasket and manifold depths up to 20mm; the studs are said to be longer than many OEM manifold fasteners.
For intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds, headers, turbo manifolds and thermal gasket installs on Honda B-, D-, F-, H- and K-Series engines.

Fitting notes from Exoracing

Maximum stud install torque: Do not exceed 30Nm / 22lbft when installing the studs
Installation tool: Studs are installed using a 3mm Allen key or hex socket
Anti-seize: Use anti-seize when installing titanium hardware into aluminium cylinder heads
Nut torque: Tighten the supplied titanium flanged nuts to the correct OEM/manufacturer torque setting for the engine and manifold
Retorque: Recheck and retorque the studs and nuts after a few heat cycles if required
Removing old studs: Remove old studs or bolts carefully; if corroded use penetrating fluid to avoid damaging the cylinder head threads
Professional installation: Professional installation is recommended if you are not confident in removing old manifold studs
