Exoracing T3 Twinscroll Turbo Gasket Stainless Steel

A T3 twinscroll gasket in 304 stainless steel, sitting between the manifold and turbo mating flanges to seal them and stop exhaust gasses leaking. It measures 107mm long by 66mm high and 0.5mm thick, with 11.2mm bolt holes spaced 85mm between centres on the long side and 45mm on the short side, and it weighs 15g.

• A new gasket is recommended each time the turbo is removed.
• Twinscroll turbos have 2 ports on the turbo flange matching 2 ports on the manifold; without these extra ports the normal gasket without the 2 ports is needed.

• Installation: Professional installation is always recommended.
• Flange preparation: Mating flanges must be clean and free from warpages to ensure a perfect seal.
• Resurfacing flanges: Resurfacing the mating flanges when replacing gaskets is recommended so the faces are perfectly straight and free from defects.
• Bolt tightening: Bolts should be tightened to the manufacturer's specs using a torque wrench.
• After fitting: After fitting, run the car through a few heat cycles up to operating temperature and let it cool, repeating once or twice more.
• Retorquing: Once the engine has cooled for the last time, go over all bolts, studs and fittings removed and retorque them to the manufacturer's specs.
