Exoracing Gold And Silver Sewn Heat Sleeve 0.5m

A sewn glass-cloth heat sleeve in a 0.5m length, designed to protect hoses, wiring looms, oil lines, coolant lines and other engine bay parts from radiant heat. The polymer-laminated cloth is lightweight, with a reflective outer layer in gold or silver, and four internal diameters are offered so you can match the sleeve to the line you want to cover.

• Rated from -40°C up to 260°C continuous direct temperature and 600°C continuous radiant temperature, with a melting temperature of 1100°C.
• The reflective gold or silver outer layer helps reflect radiant heat away from the protected part, and the material is resistant to hydraulic fluids, fuels and oils.
• Choose from 15mm, 20mm, 25mm and 30mm ID: 15mm for smaller hoses, wiring and compact lines, 20mm for medium hoses and wiring groups, 25mm and 30mm for larger hoses and looms.
• Sewn construction with a clean sewn edge for a tidy permanent installation, made from lightweight polymer-laminated glass cloth.
• Suitable for turbo, exhaust and high-heat engine bay areas. Supplied as one 0.5m Exoracing sewn heat sleeve.

• Sizing: Measure the outside diameter of the hose, cable or line and choose the closest sleeve size up; choose the next size up for tight bends or bulky fittings.
• Securing the ends: Each end can be secured using stainless steel cable ties, heat shrink or wire if needed.
• Routing: Route the protected part away from direct contact with exhaust or moving components.
• Professional installation: Professional installation is recommended if fitting near hot, moving or safety-critical components.
