Exoracing Silicone Fibreglass High Temperature Heat Sleeve 0.5m

A heat-treated fibreglass sleeve with a silicone outer coating, made to protect hoses, wiring looms, brake lines, fuel lines, oil lines and coolant lines from engine bay heat. Rated to 260°C continuous and 1200°C short-term, with a melting temperature of 1650°C, and offered in seven internal diameters from 8mm to 30mm in black.

• Rated to 260°C continuous temperature and 1200°C short-term exposure, with a minimum temperature of -40°C and a melting temperature of 1650°C.
• Heat-treated fibreglass inner with a silicone outer coating, in black, and resistant to hydraulic fluids.
• Seven internal diameter options: 8mm (AN04), 10mm, 12mm, 15mm (AN06/AN08), 20mm (AN10/AN12), 25mm and 30mm. The sleeve stretches to help fit over many installed hose fittings.
• Exoracing describes it as giving strong insulation, abrasion protection and a clean black finish, helping reduce heat exposure and protecting against rubbing.
• Supplied as one sleeve with two Exoracing heat shrink tags, and suitable for turbo, exhaust, engine bay and motorsport use.

• The sleeve must be slid over the part, so it does not suit hoses or looms that cannot be disconnected

• Sizing: Measure the outside diameter of the hose, cable or loom and choose the closest sleeve ID size above that measurement
• Sizing for tight routes: Choose the next size up for tight bends, bulky fittings or awkward routing
• Cutting: Can be cut to length with sharp scissors
• Securing the ends: Secure the ends with the supplied heat shrink tags, wire or stainless cable ties if required
• Clearance: Keep the sleeve clear of belts, pulleys, sharp edges and moving parts
