Exoracing Oil Pressure Sensor Adapter

An adapter that takes the engine's existing oil pressure sensor port and turns it into two or more ports. CNC machined from 304 stainless steel, it measures 50mm long and 19mm wide and weighs 78g, and is offered in six thread layouts covering BSPT, NPT and M10x1.0 combinations. A crush washer is supplied with it.

• Machined from 304 stainless steel, 50mm long, 19mm wide and 78g, with a design the manufacturer describes as compact for tight engine bay applications.
• Six thread layouts are offered: 1/8" BSPT to NPT, 1/8" NPT, M10x1.0 to 1/8" NPT, M10x1.0 to NPT, 4 port M10x1.0, and 4 port M10x1.0 to 1/8" NPT.
• The two 4-port layouts add two extra female ports, which can be useful for multiple sensors if the thread types match the sensors.
• Exoracing says it lets the factory oil pressure sensor port be used to add an extra oil pressure sensor, oil temperature sensor or turbo oil feed while retaining the original sensor.
• Supplied as one adapter with one Exoracing crush washer, which the manufacturer says helps seal the adapter to the engine port.

• Fitting: The adapter installs into the engine block using the supplied crush washer where required, with the original oil pressure sensor reinstalled into the adapter outlet and the additional sensor or turbo oil feed fitted into the centre port.
• Tightening torque: Around 18Nm is a useful guide, but thread condition and thread type can change the final requirement.
• NPT thread sealing: NPT-style tapered threads may need a suitable sealing method, and tapered threads should not be over-tightened.
• Over-tightening: Tapered NPT threads must not be over-tightened.
• Leak check: Start the engine, check oil pressure, and inspect every threaded joint for leaks before driving.
• Professional installation: Professional installation is recommended if unsure about the thread type or sealing.
