Exoracing Gold and Silver Velcro Heat Sleeve 0.5m

A 0.5m reflective heat sleeve for engine bay lines, built from polymer-laminated glass cloth with a gold or silver reflective foil face and a Velcro hook and loop closure. Rated to a maximum of 250°C, it is a universal cut-to-length item offered in 15mm, 20mm, 25mm and 30mm inner diameters.

• Polymer-laminated glass cloth with a reflective foil outer face, rated to a maximum temperature of 250°C. The manufacturer states it reflects up to 80% of radiant heat.
• Designed to protect hoses, wiring looms, AN lines, coolant hoses, oil lines, fuel lines, brake lines and power steering lines from radiant engine bay heat.
• Four inner diameters: 15mm for sensor wiring, small vacuum or fuel lines and compact loom sections, up to 30mm for larger hose bundles, thicker coolant hoses and large looms.
• Gold gives a more visible motorsport-style finish or matches existing gold reflective products, while silver gives a cleaner, more subtle look alongside silver heat shielding, alloy parts and pipework.
• A Velcro hook and loop closure runs along the sleeve, which is supplied in a 0.5m universal cut-to-length section.

Check before you order

• The sleeve must not touch a direct heat source
• Not for use on parts that exceed the 250°C rating; for areas above 250°C or near direct flame a higher temperature sleeve should be used
• It should not touch a turbo, manifold, downpipe, wastegate or exhaust pipe

• Fitting around existing lines: The Velcro closure allows fitting around existing lines without disconnecting them
• Installation difficulty: Simple DIY item
• Sizing: Measure the outside diameter of the hose, wiring or line before ordering and choose the closest size up
• Cutting to length: Cut the sleeve to the length needed using sharp scissors or suitable cutting tools
• Gloves: Wear gloves if skin is sensitive to laminated glass cloth
• Sleeve orientation: Rotate the sleeve so the Velcro edge and logo tag do not face or touch the direct heat source
• Post-fitting check: After the first drive, recheck that the sleeve has not moved and the Velcro is still fully closed
