Exoracing Gold and Silver Heat Reflective Tape

A self-adhesive radiant heat barrier tape in polymer laminated glass cloth, with a gold or silver reflective foil face. It is designed for intake pipework, airboxes, engine covers, bulkheads, transmission tunnels, inner wings and small panels, and is rated to 450°C continuous and 1100°C intermittent.

• Rated to 850°F / 450°C continuous and 2000°F / 1100°C intermittent, with a polymer laminated glass cloth construction and a reflective foil face.
• Exoracing state the tape reflects up to 80% of radiant heat and helps reflect radiant heat away from the surface underneath.
• Said to help protect intake pipes, airboxes, covers and panels from heat soak.
• Every roll is 5cm wide, in a 5m or 10m length, with a self-adhesive pressure-sensitive backing for clean non-porous surfaces.
• Supplied with a microfibre cloth and a squeegee, and the tape itself is flexible and lightweight.

Check before you order

• Must not be installed on porous or contaminated surfaces
• Avoid porous, oily, dirty or heavily textured surfaces as the adhesive will not bond as well
• Should be used on nearby panels, covers and intake parts, not directly on exhaust pipes
• Avoid tar and glue remover near the installed tape, as it may affect the adhesive
• For large flat areas such as a bulkhead, floor panel or large airbox, a heat reflective sheet is recommended instead of tape

• Application: Cut into strips, peel the backing and apply to a clean non-porous surface
• Cutting: Can be cut to length with scissors or a sharp blade
• Surface preparation: Clean and degrease the surface before application for the best adhesive bond
• Suitable surfaces: Apply to clean, dry, smooth, non-porous surfaces such as aluminium, stainless steel, painted panels, plastic airboxes and smooth covers
• Adhesive activation: Press the strip down firmly to activate the pressure-sensitive adhesive
