Exoracing External Wastegate Blanket Titanium or Carbon

An insulating wrap for external wastegates, built with a carbon or titanium weave exterior over a silica insulation wool centre and rated to a 1200°C / 2100°F working temperature. It is designed to contain radiant heat from an external wastegate and reduce heat soaking into the engine bay, and comes with stainless steel locking wire.

• Weave exterior in carbon or titanium over a silica insulation wool centre, with a 1200°C / 2100°F working temperature rating.
• Offered for 38mm, 44mm, 50mm and 60mm external wastegates, so check the size of the wastegate on your car against the options.
• Titanium gives a classic motorsport heat-management look, while carbon is a darker finish for builds where the blanket should look more subtle in the engine bay.
• Stainless steel hook anchors and stainless steel locking wire are used to hold the blanket in place.
• Reduces heat soak around turbo systems and nearby engine bay components, and helps protect wiring, vacuum lines, boost hoses and nearby parts from heat damage.

• Clearance check: Check clearance around boost hoses, vacuum lines, wiring and the screamer pipe or dump tube
• After first heat cycle: After the first heat cycle, recheck that the blanket is still secure and has not moved
