Exoracing Dress Up Bolt and Washer Kit M6x1.0

A set of dress-up fasteners for M6x1.0 threads, pairing stainless steel countersunk bolts with anodised 6061 aluminium washers laser etched with the Exoracing logo. Each kit holds eight bolts and eight washers, with ten washer colours to choose from, and is intended for universal non-critical dress-up use rather than any one vehicle.

• Supplied as 8 x 6061 billet aluminium washers and 8 x stainless steel M6 bolts, with the kit weighing 53g.
• Bolts are M6x20 with a 1.0 thread pitch and a countersunk head, so check the thread and that a 20mm length suits your mounting point.
• Washers are anodised 6061 aluminium with a laser etched Exoracing logo, and the countersunk bolt sits neatly in the washer, which adds colour.
• Choose from black, blue, red, purple, gold, silver, grey, green, light green and neochrome washers.
• Adds colour and detail to the engine bay and replaces old, rusty or mismatched M6 bolts.

Check before you order

• Dress-up bolts only; not to be used for critical load-bearing, suspension, braking, seatbelt, engine mount or safety-critical fixings
• Avoid harsh acidic engine bay cleaners on anodised washers, as they can affect the finish over time

Fitting notes from Exoracing

• Check before fitting: Only use where the original bolt is M6x1.0 and a 20mm bolt length is suitable
• Fitment check: Remove one original bolt and check the thread, length and mounting point before ordering or fitting
• Thread preparation: Clean dirty or rusty threads before installing; running a suitable tap through the thread can help achieve a cleaner install
• Fitting: Place the washer over the hole with the logo facing upwards, insert the countersunk bolt through the washer and tighten with the correct Allen key or Allen socket
• Do not overtighten: Do not overtighten, as this can strip the thread or round the Allen key hole
