Exoracing Black Silicone Vacuum Hose 4/5/6mm

Unreinforced silicone extrusion for vacuum and low-pressure signal lines, in 4mm, 5mm or 6mm inside diameter and 1m, 3m or 10m rolls. Black with a white Exoracing logo, with a continuous temperature guideline of -40°C to +240°C. It is for signal work only and is not compatible with fuel or oil.

• Made from high-temperature silicone (VMQ) as an unreinforced extrusion, with a 70 Shore hardness and a flexible, kink-resistant construction.
• Choose 4mm, 5mm or 6mm inside diameter; these measure approximately 10mm, 11mm and 12mm outside diameter, with a wall thickness of roughly 2-3mm depending on the size.
• Working pressure runs from 0.3MPa / 43.5PSI to 0.9MPa / 130.5PSI, with a continuous temperature guideline of -40°C to +240°C.
• Intended for vacuum and low-pressure signal duties: boost reference lines, MAP sensor feeds, fuel pressure regulator references, blow-off or recirculation valve signals, wastegate signals and gauge lines.
• The manufacturer says it stays flexible in the engine bay and resists ozone and UV better than standard rubber, replacing old, hard, brittle or split rubber vacuum hose.

• Sizing: Match the hose inside diameter to the outside diameter of the barb or fitting
• Between sizes: If the barb is between sizes, choose the smaller inside diameter for a tighter fit and use a clamp where needed
• Heat protection: If the line runs close to a turbo, downpipe, manifold or other radiant heat source, protect it with a heat sleeve
• Cutting: Measure the old line or route, then cut the hose cleanly with a sharp blade or hose cutter
• Fitting to barb: Push the hose fully onto the barb or fitting; if tight, warm the hose slightly to help it seat
• Securing joints: Use suitable clamps, spring clips or cable ties on pressurised or vibration-prone joints
• Post-fit check: Recheck the hose after the first drive to confirm it has not moved, kinked or softened near the heat
• Avoid tight bends: Avoid tight bends that could kink the hose
