Audi's C8 RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback begin to heat-soak on their original intercoolers: intake-air temperatures run away and the engine management pulls timing. This twin set swaps in Formula 1-grade two-row cores of rolled tubes with inner fins, between CNC-machined billet end tanks that are TIG-welded rather than crimped over a gasket.
