AP Racing CP7143 Ø140mm Triple Plate Carbon/Carbon Race Clutch (Push Type, 8 Bolt)

A Ø140mm triple plate carbon/carbon race clutch with a push type release and a one piece cover and lugs, on 8 fixing bolts. AP Racing list it for touring cars. Each version sets the diaphragm spring, ratio, cover and carbon material, and flywheel type: the part number key is in the spec table.

• Ø140mm, 3 carbon driven plates, push type, 8 bolt fixing
• Not for GT use: AP Racing say the wear-in is too restricted
• One piece cover and lugs, machined from solid billet
• Maintained correctly, can last up to 10 times as long as a sintered race clutch
• Release bearing: CP3457-11 (inner race rotates); CP3457-1 or CP3457-9 (outer race rotates)

Check before you order

• AP Racing say CP7142 and CP7143 are not suitable for GT applications, due to restricted wear-in
• Do not grease the hub splines: AP Racing warn the grease can be thrown outwards onto the carbon friction faces and make the clutch slip
• The picture is AP Racing's drawing of the clutch family: colours and finish vary by version, and it may show parts sold separately.
