A four-piston Pro 5000+ caliper from AP Racing for budget racing (general use and single-make race series): a cast aluminium body, radial mounting on 130mm centres and Ø280 or 295mm discs, 25.4mm thick. Sold per caliper with aluminium or stainless steel pistons, right or left hand, trailing or leading.

• 4 pistons (Ø38.1mm, equal bores), 45.6cm² piston area
• Cast aluminium body, high-temperature seals, stainless steel wear plates

Check before you order

• Priced per caliper: one axle needs a right-hand and a left-hand caliper.
• This is the caliper on its own: discs and mounting brackets are not included.
• Trailing calipers sit behind the axle, leading calipers in front of it: choose the handing that matches where the caliper mounts on your car.

Fitting notes

• Bleed screws must be at the top.
• AP Racing say brake parts should only be fitted by people experienced in fitting disc brake systems.
• AP Racing: calipers that regularly run at up to 180°C should be re-sealed every other event; from 180°C to 220°C and above, re-seal as soon as possible.
