Description
Description
The heavy duty version of AP Racing's CP3985 air jack: the same dimensions with a larger ram section for strength (30-40 grams heavier) and a stainless steel foot. A 54mm bore lifts 675kg at 30 bar, and the compression return spring makes it faster and more efficient in operation. Choose a 230mm or 310mm stroke, with or without a built-in exhaust valve.
- Larger ram section for strength, 30-40 grams heavier than CP3985
- 675kg lift per jack at 30 bar, 54mm bore
- 230mm or 310mm stroke, each with its own prop (CP3985-23 or -31)
- Optional exhaust valve with an adjustable collar to set the speed of descent
- Stainless steel foot, M14 x 1.5 inlet, two adjustable mounting rings
Check before you order
- Never work under a car held up only by air jacks unless props are fitted.
- Do not exceed AP Racing's recommended operating pressure of 30 bar.
- Props are sold separately: CP3985-15 for 150mm, CP3985-23 for 230mm and CP3985-31 for 310mm jacks.
- The photo shows one version: the versions differ in stroke and exhaust valve.

Fitting notes
- Jacks must be vertical in use, with brackets or clamps on the threaded section of the body only.
- Do not use U-bolt type clamps: distorting the body will make the jack stick.
- Do not loosen or remove the inlet adaptor.
- Never clean with petrol or paraffin (they damage the rubber seals): use an alcohol-based fluid such as methylated spirit, and only silicone spray or grease inside.
