Flow forming is the optimum compromise in manufacturing alloy wheels in large diameters with high strength, low weight and at sensible cost. Lower priced than a comparable forged wheel but also lighter than a cast wheel, AC Schnitzer ac3 flow formed wheels deliver the following benefits:
- Reduced unsprung weight compared to a cast wheel allows for improved suspension response
- reduced gyroscopic effect allows quicker, more agile steering and direction changes
- high strength - the chances of impact damage are reduced
- quicker acceleration and better braking compared to a cast wheel
This clean, filigree design is finished in bi-colour - very dark gloss metallic grey with polished faces to the spokes and rim for sporty good looks, easy cleaning and outstanding durability.
Sizes
For the M8 sizes are 9J x 21" front and 10J x 21" rear. Recommended tyre sizes are 275/30/21 front and 285/30/21 rear.
Weights
The wheel weights are 12.8kg front and 13.3kg rear. This compares favourably with BMW 706M forged wheels in 20" which are 2.4kg and 2.5kg heavier respectively, despite being an inch smaller in diameter.
Tyres
Please choose the correct tyre option from above when ordering. Prices vary according to tyre choice. Fitting kit and UK mainland delivery are included as standard. If option with tyres is selected we will supply premium Continental or Michelin non-runflat tyres in the correct size and speed rating fitted and balanced with tyre pressure monitors included. Delivery of the complete set will be on a pallet ready for installation.
