Wavetrac differentials are helical-gear limited slip diffs, designed, developed and made in the USA by Autotech Driveline. Like any torque-biasing diff, a Wavetrac sends drive towards the wheel with more grip. What sets it apart is a patented device inside that builds internal load when one wheel lifts or goes light - the moment an ordinary gear diff stops driving the other wheel - so the power keeps going down.

There are no clutch packs to wear, so a Wavetrac needs no running-in and no extra maintenance. The gears are 9310 alloy steel, the body is machined from case-hardened steel billet, carbon-fibre bias plates come as standard and every diff is built with ARP fasteners.
