Description
An intake for the 1.5 TSI EVO engine, made in the UK, with a large bore silicone high flow pipe, a turbo inlet adaptor and a heat shroud that guides cold air from the factory ducting to the filter. Choose a foam or pleated filter, the left or right hand drive version, and a blue, black or red hose.
- Forge Motorsport say the intake diameters are tuned for solid, consistent power gains throughout the rev range, without any loss of low-end torque.
- The turbo inlet adaptor works like a velocity stack; Forge say the inlet tract has more than a 50% increase in volume, with no internal baffles or noise restrictors.
- The heat shroud and Forge's thermal coatings protect the intake from radiant heat.
- Billet components in anodised 6082 alloy, with stainless steel hose clamps.
- The Fluorosilicone-lined hoses suit modern long-life coolants, O.A.T. coolants and air containing oil mist.
