Forge Motorsport Oil Cooler Take-Off Plate for Audi A3 8P 1.6 TDI (FMOC2)

An oil cooler take-off plate for the VAG 1.6 and 2.0 TDI engines that takes the place of the factory oil to water cooling block. Coolant still circulates through it, and its two M22 take-offs, with the appropriate adaptors, take -6 to -10 oil cooler lines to an external oil cooler.

• Modern VAG engines leave no room for the older style take-off plate under the oil filter, and use an oil to water cooling block on the front of the engine instead.
• Forge Motorsport say oil temperatures can pass 120°C (250°F) on a tuned car or one towing a heavy load, close to where engine oil starts to break down.
• With an external oil cooler connected, Forge say oil temperatures are stabilised and the engine can be worked harder for longer.
• Replaces VAG OEM part number 03L 117 021 C.
• Offered with the AN-10 fitting.
