Upgrading Your BMW 4 Series

The 4 Series platform responds well to targeted upgrades. The turbocharged four and six-cylinder engines benefit from improved intake and exhaust flow, the suspension geometry gives good scope for handling refinement, and the exterior proportions suit aero and styling additions well.

Popular BMW 4 Series Upgrades

• Exhaust systems, cat-back and turbo-back systems for improved exhaust note and power gains on both four and six-cylinder variants
• Performance air intakes, cold air and short ram intake systems to improve throttle response and induction sound
• Suspension upgrades coilovers, lowering springs, and anti-roll bars to sharpen handling and reduce body roll
• Brake upgrades performance brake pads, discs, and fluid for improved feel and fade resistance
• Carbon fibre styling front splitters, rear diffusers, spoilers, and interior trim in carbon fibre
• Intercooler upgrades uprated front-mount intercoolers for turbocharged variants running increased boost
