With the huge success of the Quadrifoglio range of Alfa Romeos, there have been many performance products produced to cater for this segment, however we have found that the 2.0TB platform has been neglected for performance upgrades. The 2.0TB is already a strong performing engine but has potential for more power to be exploited with the right modifications. So, here at Forge, we have been developing a range of performance products to achieve this and the\u003cstrong\u003e jewel in our crown is our induction kit, FMINDK49.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith FMINDK49 installed to the vehicle the first thing you will notice is a change in the acoustics to the engine tone. There is now a nice bark at low RPM and a steady induction roar all the way to the red line. We have increased the filtration surface area by 38% using either our Forge \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/ramair-filters.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRamair\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e high flow, pleated, synthetic nanofiber filtration filter, or \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.thepipercrossshop.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePipercross\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e foam filters, which have been manufactured for optimum size and to fit the available space giving superior flow and filtration with enhanced breathing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe CAD designed, laser cut, and precision folded heat shield has been designed to form a barrier between the air inlet tract and radiant heat from the engine. In addition, by regulating and reducing the air temperature, it also increases the reliability of an engine by keeping the AFR's (Air Fuel Ratios) in each cylinder at a safe level; this in-turn, can\u003cstrong\u003e increase an engines power\u003c\/strong\u003e due to the air being cooler. A bigger bang is then created within the cylinder, providing the correct amount of fuel is added. This can equate to an increase in BHP and torque.
